Wellness Expert and Trainer: Caroline PettyI am the owner and wellness expert of Total Package Wellness, an In-Home Personal Training Company for Individual, Family, and Corporate Wellness. I am a South Carolina native and decided to start my own in-home personal training and wellness company when I saw the need for the south to get into better physical and mental shape and realized that many people were intimidated by taking the first step on their own. TP Wellness strives to help clients achieve wellness of mind and body through physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle by providing education, motivation, and accountability.
I completed my undergraduate education at Auburn University where I played lacrosse for all 4 years and captained the team my final two. I went on to earn my master’s degree in Health, Exercise, and Sport Science at The Citadel, where as a graduate assistant I developed the Fitness Assessment Services Program. While working on my degree, I trained for and competed in several figure competitions including South Carolina State Competition, where I won first place, and Jr. USA’s. Having to constantly be competing in something, I now enjoy weightlifting (legs mostly…I have killer legs!), running half marathons, and training in the Israeli self-defense system known as Krav Maga. I am also a fitness model and contributor to fitness magazines. Personal Trainer: Kylie AdamsI am originally from North Carolina and moved to the Charleston area after recently completing my Masters in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina. I completed my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from UNC-Chapel Hill. GO HEELS!
I started gymnastics at the age of three and have been active ever since. I was a four sport athlete in high school and continued playing intramurals throughout college. I love the feeling and energy that being active and in good physical health provides and I enjoy sharing it with others. During my college years, I worked with a variety of individuals in different exercise settings. From those who were using exercise as a treatment for depression to those who were collegiate athletes, each group strengthened my passion to work in the wellness and fitness realm.
When I am not working out myself (I love spin classes!), I enjoy reading, spending time with my friends, relaxing at the beach, and playing with my dog, Max.
